February 11- March 11, 2016 Canadians Impacted by Chronic Pain – Opportunity to participate in Survey: Your Questions about Opioid (Narcotic) Use in Chronic Pain Management

On February 11, 2016, the Canadian Pain Coalition is circulating a survey seeking questions that members and Canadians may have about the use of opioids (narcotics) in chronic pain management. We ask you to please pass this notice along to others you know who live with chronic pain, are family members or caregivers of a person with pain, and are impacted in some way by chronic pain.

The Canadian Pain Coalition has served on the Patient/Public Education Working Group of the Michael G. DeGroote National Pain Centre since 2010 and we are circulating this survey to support the work of this group.

About the Patient/Public Education Working Group and the Survey:

The Patient/Public Education Working Group of the Michael G. DeGroote National Pain Centre is looking for your input. The role of the working group is to develop and provide evidence-based information for patients and the public about using opioids (narcotics) in the management of chronic pain. We would like to learn what Canadians need to know about this topic.
