      Pain team members include: Physician, Nurse Practitioner, Psychologist.
      Treatment for chronic pain may include the use of medications, physical therapy, psychological interventions such as cognitive behavioural therapy, guide imagery and relaxation, and discussion of possible treatment alternatives or complementary therapies such as yoga, acupuncture or massage therapy.
      The Pediatric Chronic Pain Clinic team also offers emotional support and follow-up care to children and families.

      Referral protocols: 0-17 years, 11 months; chronic pain of at least three months duration; chronic pain as primary complaint; chronic pain which impacts activities of daily living, school attendance, sleep, quality of life or family functioning.
